GUM Grenache Blanc
Grenache Blanc, Heathcote
2025

Drawn from nearly 30-year old vines at Willoughby Bridge in northern Heathcote, this site is beautifully suited to the varieties of the Southern Rhône.
Ironstone and greenstone-rich pre-Cambrian era soils provide depth, structure and mineral complexity, shaping a wine of both detail and power.

The fruit was gently whole-bunch pressed, with juice and fine solids fermented in a combination of seasoned Stockinger puncheons and stainless steel before 14 months of élevage.

The wine opens with notes of preserved citrus, caraway, fennel pollen, white peach and green almond, carried by a fine mineral line and subtle phenolic grip.

A savoury, gastronomic expression of Grenache Blanc, made with the table firmly in mind.
